Out of Body Experiences – What Are They?

October 27th, 2009 admin No comments

One question that is often asked about out of body experiences is when do they occur?

Well, generally, out of body experiences are common during near death experiences, while meditating and while sleeping or just about when you fall asleep.

An out of body experience or OBE (and sometimes abbreviated as OOBE), occurs when we travel to other dimensions where a sense of physical reality is not the same as it is in awake or dreaming states. Most times, having an obe is exciting, mystifying, and a bit frightening because it comes over us without much warning.

During an obe, we have the overwhelming sense that whatever we’re experiencing is really happening; we’re sure we aren’t dreaming or in an altered state of consciousness, though perhaps it would be better said that we are in a new state of awareness.

During astral projection, many of us are able to visit face to face with our guides and angels. If you’ve been striving to reach a point in your spiritual growth that includes astral projection, you’re certainly on the right track now; the obe’s you’re having can lead to some amazing soul growth. Being conscious enough to know what is happening is an important event that will help you gain control of what’s going on.

Out of body experiences are often associated with near-death experiences. These events are reported from many cultures, and have been noted throughout written history. They are so similar from one to the next, it suggests that they are neither accidental nor random.

There are many stories of people hoovering over their body in an operating room or seeing loved ones in the waiting room. Details are noted that substantiate the claim of the out of the body event. Such experiences provides an understanding that we are independent of the physical body, that a part of us exists or can exist outside the physical body – they may validate the existence of a soul.

Of course, out of body travel does not have to be initiated in such a traumatic way. Many people are able to adventure beyond the body at will.

Researchers suggest that about 10 percent of the population have an out of body experience once in a lifetime. But I suspect we all have these experiences, but just cannot hold onto them with our conscious memory. And that is what we want to do with our journeys outside of our body… To remember the joy of flying, recall the words that are heard and understand the lessons learned…

What is Mastering Astral Projection?

October 24th, 2009 admin No comments

I am not sure exactly how old I was when I realized that my dreams were more real than most people have. They were lucid dreams – sometimes so real that even now some of them seem a part of my real life experience and memories.

With that kind of inner life, I soon discovered that there was an event called astral travel. And that sometimes I would have waking dreams where I left my body and explored other worlds and events. But I didn’t know why I had these out of the body experiences nor how to make them happen on a regular basis. That is why I sought a way of mastering astral projection.

I decided I would put up this website because I did find a way of mastering astral projection, an astral projection guide that I wanted you to know about as well.

But perhaps I should first give a definition of what astral travel or out of body travel actually is. It is to take an astral voyage – to have your awareness leave your body and go anywhere you want it to. In the case of astral projection, one is totally aware and can fully control what one does. You will have experiences that are similar to what happens in dreams – but you are fully awake.

It may seem like a miracle to unleash such hidden power, but with training I believe that anyone can learn how to astral project. One trick is to maintain your awareness while allowing your physical body to fall asleep. But often it is spontaneous astral projection that one first encounters.

And these dream-like experiences have been going on for thousands of years. Tibetan Buddhists practice astral travel. And when the famous ancient Greek mathematician, Pythagoras, heard the music of the heavens, he was thought to be having an out of the body experience.

If you have had unexpected waking dreams, you have been astral traveling. And if you want more of these kind of events in your life, rest assured that you can learn the art of mastering astral projection.
